Dhaka: Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader said that the law and order situation in the country is seriously disrupted. It can be said that such a delicate law and order situation has not been seen in living memory.

He made these comments at a discussion meeting and exchange of greetings program at the Banani office auditorium of Jatiya Party on Monday (February 24). The program organized to mark the birthday of Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader was presided over by the party's Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu.

He said that not only in the capital, but also in the whole country, people are unable to sleep due to fear. The country is now a sanctuary for thieves, robbers and kidnappers. The country is like a state of terror. We have said before that Operation Devil Hunt is being conducted to suppress dissent. Safe people are being wrongfully arrested and charged with murder cases. They are being harassed and arrested. And, criminals are committing crimes with brazenness.

He also urged the government to hold an acceptable election for all without creating divisions in politics.
