Attack on Bangladesh Mission in Agartala, Protests at BAU and CMU
General students have taken out a protest march at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) and Cumilla University (CMU) demanding ban on ISKCON and protesting the attack on the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Agartala, India.
The protest march was held at 10:30 pm on Monday (December 2).
During the march, students were seen raising various slogans against ISKCON. The students raised various slogans including 'ISKCON is all militant, partners of tyranny', 'ISKCON's black hands, break them and crush them', 'I will not accept, will not accept India's aggression', 'ISKCON's address, it will not happen in this Bengal', 'Direct action against ISKCON'.
The students of BAU said, "We will not accept such actions of the terrorist organization ISKCON. The attack on the Bangladesh Embassy in Agartala is highly condemnable. We will remain on the streets until the terrorists of India's broker ISKCON are brought to justice. Our movement will continue indefinitely."
Meanwhile, at a protest march at CUmilla University, Swaib Hossain Al-Amin, a student of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, said, 'Today, our High Commission in India was attacked and the flag was torn, it has hurt our existence. That is why we are protesting it today. If India hatches any conspiracy against Bangladesh, we will resist it with strong hands.'
It is worth noting that the attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, India, took place on Monday (December 2) afternoon. It is known that such an incident took place at a meeting organized by the Hindu Sangram Samiti in front of the High Commission.
