Dhaka: Joint force patrols will be further increased in crime-prone areas, said Shafiqul Alam, the press secretary to the chief adviser.
He told reporters after a meeting on the law and order situation at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Secretariat on Monday (February 24) afternoon.
The press secretary said, "The government has taken the issue of the law and order situation in the country seriously. For this, instructions have been given in a meeting with senior officers of all forces. Check posts will be set up in various places and searches will be carried out."
At the same time, Home Affairs Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury also announced that police patrols in the capital will be further increased.
He said, "Check posts will be set up in various places in the capital to monitor the law and order situation. The forces have been instructed to improve the situation. The operation will be intensified from evening onwards.
The Home Affairs Adviser claimed that the law and order situation in the country is at a satisfactory level, but there is room for further improvement.
