Rohingya armed group ARSA chief arrested
Finally, RAB has arrested Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) chief Ataullah Abu Ammar Jununi.
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-11) has arrested six members including the ARSA chief from Bhumipalli Tower in Bhumipalli residential area in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj.
On Tuesday (March 18) afternoon, Siddhirganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Shahinur Alam confirmed the matter. They were arrested from Bhumipalli Tower in Bhumipalli residential area in Siddhirganj on Monday (March 17) night. At that time, cash of Tk. 21 lakh 39 thousand 100, a sharp knife and a sharp steel chain (with sharp teeth and handles on both sides) were recovered from them.

The arrested are - Myanmar's Ataullah Abu Ammar Jununi alias Ataullah (48), Mostaq Ahmed (66), Salimullah (27), Mosa. Asmaul Hosna, Hasan (15) and Moniruzzaman (24).
According to information from RAB-15 Cox's Bazar, the top terrorist and military commander of the terrorist organization ARSA, Gun Group Commander, Finance Secretary, ARSA Chief Ataullah's personal assistant and finance coordinator, head of the most wanted killer group, camp commander, head of the Ulama Body and Torture Cell, one of the top commanders of the Sleeper Cell and Ulama Body, Finance Coordinator, Commander of the Intelligence Cell, head of the Logistics Branch, and more than a hundred ARSA terrorists involved in criminal activities were arrested. Local and foreign ammunition was recovered during this time.
The symbolic terror of the Rohingya camps is the name of the terrorist group 'ARSA'. The ARSA terrorist group is involved in various criminal activities including most of the murders, kidnappings, robberies, extortion and drugs, focusing on expanding its dominance in the Rohingya camps. It was led by ARSA chief Ataullah from Myanmar. But the law enforcement agencies of Bangladesh were not able to arrest him despite various efforts.
