Islamic Foundation decides to publish white paper on corruption
The Board of Governors meeting has decided to publish a white paper on corruption of the Islamic Foundation.
The decision was taken at the Board of Governors meeting at the Islamic Foundation meeting room in Agargaon in the capital on Tuesday (December 3) afternoon.
It has been decided to form a five-member committee headed by a retired Supreme Court judge to investigate irregularities and corruption in the Islamic Foundation in the past 15 years. In addition, important discussions were held on appointing manpower to vacant posts of the Islamic Foundation, rationalizing the rent of the shop of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, reviving the publication department and energizing the activities of the foundation.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr. A. F. M. Khalid Hossain, Chairman and Religious Adviser of the Islamic Foundation Board of Governors. In this, the Governor of the Board of Governors and the Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Professor Dr. S. M. A. Faiz, Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs A. K. M. Aftab Hossain Pramanik, Vice Chancellor of the Islamic University Professor Dr. Naqib Mohammad Nasrullah, Chairman of the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board Professor Muhammad Shah Alamgir, Director General of the Islamic Foundation Md. Saiful Islam, Khatib Awlad-e-Rasul (PBUH) of Andarkilla Shahi Jame Mosque Shaykh Maulana Syed Anwar Hossain Tahir Jaberi, Principal of Charmonai Ahsanabad Rashidiya Kamil Madrasa Maulana Syed Mohammad Mosaddek Billah Al Madani, Director General of Jamia Rahmania Arabia in Dhaka Maulana Mahfuzul Haque, Vice Principal of Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa in Dhaka Dr. Khalilur Rahman Madani and Maulana Shah Md. Nesarul Haque, principal of Waezia Kamil Madrasa of Patuakhali, were present.
A condolence resolution was adopted in the meeting in memory of the martyrs of the July Revolution. Finally, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs of the July Revolution and the speedy recovery of the injured.
