Chief Adviser to the Interim Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus has invited Elon Musk to visit Bangladesh to launch Starlink within the next 90 working days.
This information was given by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing on Sunday (February 23).
The notification said that Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has sent a letter to top US businessman and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk inviting him to visit Bangladesh and launch Starlink satellite services in the country.
The Chief Adviser said in the letter, “Let us work together to deliver on our mutual vision for a better future.
The letter also said, “Starlink connectivity in Bangladesh’s infrastructure will have a transformative impact for Bangladesh’s young entrepreneurs, rural and marginalized women, and remote and underprivileged communities.”
In addition, Dr. Khalilur Rahman has also been instructed by the Chief Adviser to coordinate all matters with the SpaceX team to complete the necessary work to launch Starlink in Bangladesh within the next ninety working days.
Earlier, it was reported that he had also contacted Elon Musk by telephone on February 13 regarding the launch of Starlink satellite internet service in Bangladesh.
