Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has commented that there is a lot of empty space in Saudi Arabia, where a Palestinian state can be formed.
The Israeli media outlet Jerusalem Post reported this information in a report on Friday (February 7).
Pointing to the situation in Gaza, Netanyahu said, there was a Palestinian state, its name is Gaza. Gaza was led by Hamas and a huge massacre took place there under their rule. The situation in Gaza has intensified Israel's security crisis.
Netanyahu said, a Palestinian state can be formed in Saudi Arabia, where there is a lot of empty land. According to him, this initiative could be a solution for the Palestinian people, which could be in line with Saudi Arabia's long-standing political and geopolitical interests.
At the same time, he said, whether the Palestinians will form a state on Saudi Arabian soil is Saudi Arabia's own decision.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Foreign Ministry has said that they are not interested in any talks with Israel until a Palestinian state is established. In this situation, Netanyahu rejected this condition, saying, "I will not enter into any agreement that would endanger Israel as a state."
