BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi believes that the interim government should seek the assistance of the UN peacekeeping force for the security of Bangladeshi diplomats stationed in India.

He said, peacekeepers should be deployed in India, not Bangladesh. India has failed to provide security to the Bangladesh High Commission.

He said this at a press conference organized at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Tuesday (December 3) afternoon.

He said, superstitious, backward politicians are now ruling India. The kind of secular, liberal politicians that existed at the time of India's independence have now gone far away. The communal ruling class, obsessed with power, is capitalizing on communalism and giving a platform to hardliner Hindutva militant groups.

Mentioning that India is slandering the revolution that shook the soil of Bangladesh, this senior BNP leader said, "They are slandering the sacrifice of students and the people. Their only idol is Sheikh Hasina. They are so saddened by the fall of Sheikh Hasina that they cannot forget the grief. The desire and sacrifice of the people of this country to regain democracy are spread in the air of Bangladesh. They do not hear them. Because their beloved Sheikh Hasina has fallen, they have left their food and drink in pain and have risen against Bangladesh."

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, propaganda is being continuously carried out with the state patronage of India. India has never mastered the literacy of coexistence. That is why it invades neighboring countries by ignoring the familiar surroundings. They do not give importance to what the people of Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan and Bangladesh want. They want to walk on the path of planned aggression according to their old doctrine.

Referring to India's aggression to make Kashmir Muslim-free, he said, "What is the situation in Assam and Manipur? What is the situation of the Sikhs in Punjab? Canada has banned you; the whole world knows what you did. BJP's fascism has become so international that their intelligence agency is killing an Indian Sikh leader in Canada. They have failed to target him in America. Even then, you talk so much." Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, "The international human rights organization Human Rights Watch reported that 63 percent of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speeches before the last Lok Sabha elections were hate speech. In 110 out of 173 speeches, Modi made comments on Islam phobia. Mosques are being destroyed in India, including constant persecution of Muslims. Those who are persecuting minorities in their own country have no moral right to talk about minorities in Bangladesh. I strongly condemn the killings and torture of minorities in India." He said, "I would tell Modi and Mamata to take care of their own houses and look after them. In Bangladesh, we, people of all communities, are living in peace." We have been living together for a long time, there is no dividing line between us. This dividing line is now being created from Delhi.
