The child who was abused in Magura while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka has died (Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un).
The matter was reported from the verified Facebook page of the Bangladesh Army on Thursday (March 13) afternoon. Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser to the Interim Government, expressed his condolences over the death of the child. The Bangladesh Army has expressed its condolences separately.
The post stated that it is with a heavy heart that it is being informed that the child who was abused in Magura breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital, Dhaka today, March 13, 2025 at 1 pm (Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un). Despite the application of the latest medical systems at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and the utmost efforts of expert doctors, it was not possible to save him. The child had three cardiac arrests this morning, two of which were stabilized, but the third time the heartbeat did not return.
It is worth noting that the child was admitted to Dhaka CMH in a critical condition on March 8.
